Description
In these upper-intermediate / advanced reading and conversation sessions we will meet Socrates in his prison cell on the last day of his life, waiting to be executed. Plato`s captivating narration will allow us to follow everything that was said and done just before Socrates` death by hamlock, while the tragic of the moment creates a perfect setting for some relevant topics to be discussed: the immortality of the soul, the theory of forms, the myth about afterlife and much more.
Get ready to join the first session, for the Athenian ship has already returned from Delos!
