Xenophon: Anabasis
Description
Xenophon’s Anabasis has long been the go to text for learners of Ancient Greek who want to transition from easy adapted readings (textbooks) to “real” Ancient Greek. In this course, we will read selected passages from the original text, following Xenophon and the “Ten Thousand” on their arduous march through the Persian Empire as they try to find their way back home.

Prerequisites
- basic knowledge of Ancient Greek (at least half a year of university studies or equivalent)
- prior knowledge speaking the language is welcome but not necessary

Please note that for payments via PayPal or credit card, there will be charged an additional 5% of the course fee to cover the transaction costs.
You can cancel your registration any time via email. If you cancel before a class has started, you will receive a full refund of the course fee you have paid minus a ten percent administration fee. If you have to cancel a class that has already started, you will receive a partial refund in direct proportion to the number of classes that you already have attended minus the ten percent administration fee. For example: If you have to cancel half way in of a course, you will receive a 50% refund minus 10% percent of the originally paid course fee.
